Introduction
This is no fictional story, but a real and heart-wrenching love.
Nankang Baiqi was a writer on Jinjiang Literature City. He wroteSix Records of Floating Life, documenting seven years of sweet moments with his lover. Eventually, he received the wedding invitation of the man he loved.
Devastated by heartbreak, he penned the memoir I Will Wait for You Until I Turn Thirty-Five. He made a promise: If you have a bad life by then, come back to me. If you don’t, I will move on.
He never got to see that day. He passed away at the age of 28. News of him reached others for the last time when his body was found in the Xiangjiang River.
